it's nothing major, I'm just ranting. Mike NEVER keeps his WORD EVER. Ive leared to except that, but I'm sick of it. Everything has to be on HIS terms. He makes promises he knows he'll never keep. I just don't know how to deal with that anymore. Lost my wedding rings about 10 yrs ago, never got a replacement like he said. I've lost diamond earrings, never got a replacement. Our front door needs replacing, never did it. Our bathroom needs A LOT of work, been promising thst for 6 yrs. Recently about 1 yr ago promise to gutt it, nothing.
These are not major things, I'm just tired of expecting anything from him. If you can't respect a person word, what do you do with that?
These are simple things. Mike and I have been together for 23 yrs and he's been stingy and cheap through all of them. I'm 56 and am I'm gonna have to weight till im 70 to get these things? Shit even 60?
All these things yr after yr makes me want to divorce him. I'm sick of it all.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

My 63rd birthday and 37th anniversary are around the corner. Still waiting on a similar list with my own dearly beloved. I quit holding my breath while I wait quite some time ago. These days I either fill the needs myself or let 'em go. Can't bring myself to dump the chump over ^it^. His strong suits still out-weigh his broken promises. So far. . .
Okay, okay. . . Beehaving now. . .
My MIL says his father is the same way and had thought about divorce a coupl of times throughout their marriage and still does even after over 60 yrs.
I'm the type of person who is a loyal friend and mean what I say and when reciprocated and not get nasty. I have anger issues to add to the mix. Im not say I expect to receive anything back, I'm not that kind of person, but believe in promises kept.
He's a good msn and a great Husband, I just can't take anything he promises. Theres always an excuse and I can't take it anymore. And yes I have spoken to him about it. He doesn't think he's doing nothing wrong bc mikes knows best right? That last one was sarcasim how ever you spell it
A few years back, we began sitting down once a week and went over everything that needed to be done around the house and we made a list/chart with things to do and dates we wanted to see them accomplished. We sat down and prayed about working together to get the things done, and started doing everything as a team and it has worked out well. That way neither of us is totally responsible for anything inside or out. We do it all together.
Sometimes working together just requires encouragement and motivation as well as providing refreshments and meals. Once we started doing this, our projects had completion dates and we were both much happier with a sense of accomplishment.
I hope your situation changes and you are able to get some projects completed and have a sense of accomplishment. I will be praying for you!
