Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I cry a lot look at photos unless its too hard, light a candle when it gets dark and l talk to whoever is gone though l tend to do that a lot anyway l miss them too much not to. When l had a huge loss last year l couldn't cope so went to visit them and they suggest to help me with my grief that l buy some flowers and scatter them into the sea....best advice l ever had.
I wrote a letter, dried some of the petals took a picture of the sea coast and chose some music to remind me of them then put them away in a special box and talked how my bp was swinging wildly through with my pdoc....if you need it please try grief counselling too.

It's very hard losing a parent, I know.
I find special dates hard as well at times... For me Christmas is always a hard one that I usually sleep through
I wish I had some great answers some things change us and are hard....xo
Sometimes, there's nothing to be done except to go through it. No way to avoid the pain.
When our loved ones die, our love for them doesn't. It is always there.
Think how you would want your father to feel, if the situation was reversed and you were the one who had died.
What would you want for him? How would you want him to be dealing with the loss?
Today is certainly a day for sad reflection, but perhaps keeping in mind that he wants you to be happy will help you to move on a little bit faster as this day recedes.
Snuggle with all your dear ratties, even if it means wetting their fur with your tears. Take comfort in your love for them!!
I'm so sorry for your loss, Dee.
((((((((((Hugs))))))))))
It hardly seems like it's been a year !
Anniversaries like this are sooo hard !
What I did to help deal with my Dad;s passing.
On the anniversary date { which is the day before my Birthday } , I take out photos and write a letter to my Dad, telling him how I miss him, and all the memories I have .
Each year I look at the letters from the past years, and I can see how YES, I still miss him, but it's not so awful a feeling anymore
Sending big warm hugs to you.
Candles are good. I think of what dad would do in certain situations., etc. I am thankful he's no longer in pain.
I don't know the circumstances of your dad's passing. I wish peace for you. May you find comfort and peace... ((hugs))
Attach to helium balloon and let it go.
Try to replace the sad, crying behavior with something a little more positive and sentimental...at least to me.
Not everyone would go for such an idea. Just what I do.
Sorry for this pain. Remember, you'll work thur and survive it, not get over it.
