Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Everyone knows of this pain.Extreme reticence and doubts are common.
Mine was intense confusion.
I don't kick out at others or try and Hard Sell my route.
You are definitely in the swirl. That place where the meds haven't reached optimal levels. For some that hurts ....side effects, for others it is pure fear , confusion and denial.
All these states can co-exist.
By all means, seek your own answers.
You sound tetchy and anxious.
Look after yourself first.Everyone here has their own set of experiences and it doesn't help when a knee-jerk happens.
I'm happy with my Lithium.
The trip isn't so easy to describe as a DS SoundBite.
I prefer Museums and Galleries to Cruises...those are for Old Timers.
Peace
On Bipolar, I reckon I forgot more about this conition than P.Docs get taught.
The one thing to remember is you are responsible for the treatment you receive.... until you find a comfortable place in your Recovery then you must strive to get there....for YOU.
Use as much help as there is available and NO.....you are not Crazy.
When people tell me that meds are natural I can't help but think of Morphine, Cocaine, Opium and others.
