Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
But sometimes ya just have to get a handle on lists !
hope i don't hurt any feelings.
If I see some one I don't know some times I will friend them thinking it is some one new who is in need. But often times it's a person that never talks and just takes up a space.
I feel I'm already friends with people even if they aren't on my list as long as I know who you are and see your posts on the forum. So even if you aren't on my list
just know that doesn't make us not friends.
Any how I guess I'm learning.
funny thing is, they'll probably never know.
Then again, I don't think I've made that much of an impact in their life since they never talk to me.
Ok, I can do this too!
I even have one on there that I know will never come back, just can't seem to let her go. : (
I wouldn't have deleted you. I don't know how that happened I must have mistaken you for some one else. I wouldn't delete some one still on the board.
I was trying to get rid of random strangers!
But I did notice I had more friends that I did actually know than friends I didn't. I think some of my non friends took them selves off the list cause I know I had more than that.
My problem is not that I am so enormously popular, but that I am in so many groups, esp. privates that I am founder of. I feel obligated to add someone if they friend me and they are in my group. So the dilemma of what to do if they never return.
I always put a warning on my journal, and I only delete people if I don't have a clue who they are, and no groups in common. Still, as someone said to me - it's putting that little friend box right by the hug box. Send someone a hug, and they check "be a friend" if they return the hug. Of course, I don't get mail outs, so if someone did did a journal warning for me, I would never know.
I like the idea of just saying - when we get to know each other better. Several have done that with me and I felt no offense. And yes, I have deleted people by accident that were my closest friends. Never use the friends list, always go to the profile.
By the way, even though my RA is probably worse than my bipolar, I consider this my main group. Just in case anyone thinks I am jumping ship. This is where most of my friends come from. I had lots in RA, but they all left, and not really feeling like going back and reposting the same medical info for people I don't know. This group is better - well because it has different moods. LOL
