i feel like H*** i have gone from 600 to 500 of seroquel in like 8 days. I didn't sleep well at all last night and i am so freaking irritable that i am literally telling MYSELF off. Seriously....no joke. My psych called me to talk about it this afternoon. We didn't get very far and she said she had to call me back and she never did. I have left two messages and nothing. She is realllllly pissing me off.

Tapering o0ff anything can be hell. Worst experience I've ever had was tapering off effexor. Hang in there. Get a new doc, there's no excuse for being ignored.

Bad form for your Pdoc!!!! Booooooooo!!!!

I'm having trouble sleeping, too.
I want to get off of Seroquel, but that's going to take place in the future.
I'm already weaning off something else.

But the last couple of nights, blech!!
I've ended up INCREASING my Seroquel and am still struggling.
I feel like death warmed over.

Maybe we're at the mercy of some other environmental force!!

I hope your Pdoc gets back to you and has some solid help to offer!!! Maybe you need to step down more slowly and in smaller increments!!

Eulen..i totally feel your pain. I am really struggling....

Another? Can weaning off from Seroquel cause body aches??? I hurt ALL OVER. I have been having this trouble way before i started tapering down on seroquel but tonight it is really bad.

I remember when I lived in Philadelphia, some mentally ill people never got to talk to their doctor at all, except for a medication review every 8 weeks for 15 minutes. If they had a problem, a case manager was supposed to help. And one man was told, "Call me back when you CALM DOWN." Excuse me? I think the person was calling because they felt desperate.

I have a really vivid horrible memory of weening off of Seroquel. Weening off any of the antipsychotics is absolute hell actually. All I can say is have a lot of clonezepam and benedryl on hand because you'll probably need it - at least that's what worked for me and my husband telling me every five minutes that it will get better, it will get better.

my dr called back. I am having my dose raised back to the original 600 mg. thank God!!!!!!!
