We just got back home before 11. Had to be down at the ER for like five hours. We thought Dillon might have swallowed one of granny's heart pills. I don't think he did though, but wanted to err on the side of caution. He had to drink charcoal and have an iv and a monitor on him for that entire time. It was really rough on him and us when this angelic nurse came on at 7. Her mom had been a special ed teacher and she knew how to occupy him there to where he wasn't constantly pulling at the leads or the iv. She was a godsend. That scare is over. He is changed, fed and in bed sleeping like the baby he is. Thanks for listening.
