Hi yall,
I was diagnosed bipolar in 2009 by a psychiatrist in 30 mins. Well now I have been in therapy and my therapist thinks I do not exhibit any signs of bipolar, I been thru hell on meds and since on them I have felt like crap. I was on 5 mg of zyprexa and now Im going on my third week of 2.5mg. I am still on lamotrigine 150mg. I have been feeling like shit literally bad anxiety, fstigue and headaches. Im not really depressed, for i have never been suicidal or hallucinated.
Does anyone know how long till you feel better after weaning off theses horrible meds?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

If someone is bipolar and medicated successfully then of course some uninformed idiot will tell you that you aren't bipolar.
If you come off your meds and you are bipolar it may trigger an episode which is difficult to get back under control even if you go back onto your current meds.
Additionally coming off meds needs careful management because withdrawal in itself can cause real problems - the lamotrigine could be the bigger problem because sudden withdrawal can cause seizures.
My suggestion is you go back on the meds asap - arrange to see a properly qualified professional (ie a psychiatrist) and get a second opinion, if they say you are not bipolar they can help you get off the meds, if you are then they can help you with any issues caused by suspending your treatment.
