I saw my Dad and his long time girlfriend to sign some paperwork reguarding a vintage car of his. It's not one I would know how to drive anyway. I brokedown a bit in front of them and they hugged me. They told me that they love me and if I'm having trouble, they would help me.
I'm not sure why I thought my family wouldn't help me. Maybe it's my brain exaggerating things which it likes to do. That is such an awful thing to experience.
So it's true what they say that if you say mean things to a person, they will believe it eventually. I'm glad they have anti-bullying movements these days.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. Sometimes when I'm alone I start to think pessimistically and look at all the bad things, real or imagined. I have learned to turn my thinking around with positive self talk. A therapist helped me with this and it changed my life.
My Dad lives in the country with his long time girlfriend and her adult son with Aspergers' or high functioning Autism. That is some coincidence since my son has it.
