Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

It is the usual work day for me, followed by school tonight.
Was going to go out to lunch with my mom and my sister, it's her birthday, but those plans got scratched.
Going to try my best to take a damn shower today and fold some towels. Man, what an exciting life I do lead.
Looks like alot of you have tdoc and pdoc appts today...good luck with those. (((hugs))
Chelle, I hope your shin gets to be feeling better.
As for me, getting through the work day until 4, then home to do some cleaning and play with the dogs.
Have a great day everyone.
Ruby.........my pdoc looked at my shine and he thinks it will be okay if I flush it with some peroxide and put some antibiotic ointment on it. I think I will put a bandaid on it too to keep my pants from rubbing it.
Diana.............sorry to hear about your doggie. Hopefully she will be on the mend soon. Hugs.
Ksmimi...........that's what I am trying to do sister!!
Brian.............I love me some Zeppelin!!
May............what are you developing if I may ask? Sounds like you have a busy day. At least, part of it is enjoyable.
Sossy............that's my girl. You rock!! Smooches.
Blue..........I feel your frustration. Gawd, I need a life sometimes.
Tinks............enjoy your day, sweetie.
Sorry about Jim, I'll send some good positive thoughts your way. Get some antibiotics for your shin if it's infected.
Today I'm taking back crap I bought from 3 weeks ago when when I was manic. Great now it's time to x-mas shop and I'm broke. My teeth need fixing (no ins.) and I need glasses (no ins) and my dog needs a vet. Only during or before the holidays. I'm returning stuff all day and making donations to Good Will of all my old now defunct reading glasses.
Chelle, you should have that sore checked out. It does sound like it's infected and if the circulation isn't good, it could turn into something nasty. Sorry you're hurting.
As for me, I am wasting time until I have to go to work. I'm going to go down to the knittery and try to chill out. Had a major panic attack this morning. Trying to come down off of that.
Today I had a phone date with my psych with him telling me the lithium has finally reached the therapeutic level in my blood. He still upped the dose a bit but thank god no more needles in my arm. Then I went out for an appointment with my study adviser to discuss my progress and the registration for the coming period. Afterward I talked to the head coordinator of the coming block who was very supportive of my 'special circumstances' and stressed the fact I could e-mail him any time with questions. Then to the bookshop to get a birthday present for my dad. Now I'm back home, just cooked for myself (=achievement!) and now have to start reading some texts for the lectures of tomorrow. Which will be a challenge since I feel really nauseous after taking my lithium.
