I'm so frustrated. I had an appointment scheduled with my neurologist on January 2nd that they had to reschedule because he wouldn't be in. Now I just got a call saying I had to reschedule my appointment for this Thursday because he won't be in the office. WTF. The earliest appointment is April 21st. I'm so mad!!!


I explained to the lady on the phone that I'm already over a month behind on my appointment and she said I'll let him know. I don't know what to do. My neurosurgeon is in the same practice and now I really don't want to go back there.

I got to both doctors because of second opinions and I was so mad after I got off the phone with the receptionist I called and made appointments to go back to my original doctors. I don't want to keep hopping around but I'm so frustrated.

Sounds very frustrating, reds. So sorry. I would be hesitant to make the 2nd doctor someone I planned to see regularly. I saw a neuropsychiatrist for a few years who was insanely hard to get a hold of and even though I liked her, I moved onto someone else because it was beyond frustrating. A second opinion is good, but not if they aren't available to help. Is there anyone else you can see?

My friend who's a nurse thinks I should see an internist because I have multiple health issues. I called the one she recommended and I need my PCP to refer me. Her earliest appointment is in May. I'm not sure if they treat headaches.

The only doctors I really trust right now are my cardiologist and my doctor at the Cleveland Clinic. Unfortunately it's a 3 hour drive to Cleveland so I can't go there that often.

I would be very frustrated. I would see if there was anybody else that you can see for the second opinion? Maybe your PCP can refer you to someone else. I hope you are able to find someone to help you.

Appointments lost - UGH! My docs must have boring lives b/c they're always around, even around the holidays! Wish I could share with you, Reds!
