Hello I'm new here. I was recently dx as bipolar in the hospital after a year long episode. I've been out a month and still have one month to go before I see my pdoc and therapist. I'm trying my best with diet, knowledge swimming, reading hobbies to get me through until I have to see them. I am married with no children. I never knew I had this for 46 years it's been arguing and flying off the handle for me. I thought I had anger management problems. I've managed to ruin my life repeatedly over the course of my life time. I don't have any personal relationships any longer. They just were fed up with me. I've taken more than I gave for the most part. Nobody wanted to listen that fast anymore to what I was constantly repeating! My life has changed and DS has made all the difference in the world. I come here and I feel NORMAL! All the stories don't take me by surprise, as a matter of fact... I relate. It's amazing with DS I found a family and friends. This illness is no joking matter and we all need each other because "normal" people just can't totally relate but we know that we know! This is like my secret place for my soul. Thanks for being so supportive everybody.
