wow, I am in the biggest low in a long time. on Lamictal again but it takes time. I hate having the 2 different personalities in me...when it is April & May I am funny &smart & hyper & can do everything at once. Now that I am over 50, my body is getting tired from the lows that follow, the guilt from my impulsiveness and feeling that i wasted my life & talent. Doc moved me from bipolar II to bipolar I because of some episodes. My sis died of this in a mental hospital. No family I can talk to, but spouse cares but in a clinical way..."wait for meds to kick in...it will be better."
Even though I have 3 really great nice & smart adult children, I have a hard time saying that I did that right. All looks so bleak. I am just glad to know I found a place with others like me. I hate to call friends & won't! And won't answer the phone in this state, so I know I am making bad choices but it happens every fall. A new grandbaby on the way & even that makes me sad. Does anyone need me?

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Yes few "normies" understand the special hell of depression where you look OK but feel worse than words can describe.
Welcome this is a great place it's wonderful to be around people who get it!
(((((Hugs)))) really hope you feel better soon!
It does 'sound' to me like you're in a depression... Perhaps when the Lamictal is working well some therapy may help... Big hug...x
