Can't stand when I feel this way.....I'm trying to keep busy but the things that I am doing aren't cutting it for me. I stay busy crafting alot of the time, but I am finding it very hard to sit still....even though I'm busy crafting sitting for any length of time is difficult. It's really getting on my nerves and I am wondering if the Abilify isn't the culprit.
I've been riding the stationary bike, cleaning, cooking, geeez what more do I have to do to kill this uncomfy feeling??? Thinking about putzing around in the yard but that doesn't thrill me all that much either. sigh
What do you do when everything is boring you and you can't sit still?? Does this happen to you?? I'm almost in tears here I feel so uncomfortable in my own skin....ugh.:-(

How long have you felt this way? Have you shared this with your doctor?
I hope you find peace and rest soon. That "can't sit still" feeling is a bitch.

Its the abilify, I just went from 5 to 15 mg and experiencing everything you describe. I felt the same when I was put on it intially.
Akisthesia is connected with low iron and iron deficient anemia.
I can tell you when my iron is low by how restless I am...sometimes I feel electrically charged.
You need to talk to your pdoc, me thinks. Some meds can help like benzos, propranolol and/or cogentin.

Yeah I kinda thought it was the Abilify....I have been taking 10mg for some time now and this is weird coming out of the blue like this ya know??
So far today I have gone for a walk....loom knitted part of a snowman....made a pair of wool upcycled mittens...cleaned...gone to 2 stores...getting ready to loom knit some more now...lol Ahhhhh feel like running down the road sceaming like a crazed woman but don't think that would get me too far!!! lol
Oh AND I'm planning on decorating pincones...which I think I'm going to do that now. So my focus is still there...because I am getting some things accomplished....but damn hard sitting let me tell ya!!!
If it keeps up I will talk to doc...but hoping it just passes....started yesterday afternoon. Not liking it ONE BIT!!!
