Something isn\'t working. I\'ll just toss it out the best that I can.....My meds have not been working that great. I\'ve been getting more and more agitated, tearful, sad, confused, uncomfortable in my own body, moody. I have trouble expressing my thoughts to the md without getting upset and tearful.

I have an appt. tomorrow. I need a med overhaul because I think of suicide. How do I get the point that I am losing it to the MD across to him. My energy level are all over the place...I am all over the place......

Shit I can\'t even type what I am trying to say......I think of suicide way too much. I double my anxiety meds, and use them with my pain med to catch a buzz so I don\'t have to deal with any of this shit. I have told the doc this......I have told him this. WTF??? do i do. I am headed toward trouble and I know it and have told him this. I do not know what to do and I feel like I am going to go off on him!!

Sorry you\'re having to deal with this. Maybe you should just let it all hang out for the doc. It\'s an idea anyway.

I agree with you that your meds must not be working. Is there any way you could lay down and rest. Might try a warm bath. It would be good if you could slow your thoughts down. Write a note about your feelings for the pdr and hand it to him. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I can\'t chat right now as I am in training for work but I want you to know that there are many, many people here at this site to help you. You make sure that doc knows everything and you make sure that if a med isn\'t working you tell that doc. I hate it when docs kind of push you aside as if you don\'t know yourself!! I have a great doc. I hope you have a great one, too.

tats are you afraid to tell your doc you are thinking about suicide? It is really important that you find a way to tell him that- there are things they can do to help. I know it\'s scary to have to admit that. What are you afraid that he might do if you tell him?

I am feeling how you are. I feel like inner torture and just trying to hold it all in for my family. This is not a way to live. I have a call in to my dr. but nothing back all day. I will pray for you.

I feel what you are trying to say. I too have been in your shoes. My suggestion would be as gemi said. Let it all hang out. Don\'t hold back. List on paper your feelings so as not to forget anything. I have found out thru experience unless I\'m comepletely informative to my PDoc, he can\'t sufficiently help me. Sure, I was scared to say anything but as I\'ve said, unless i teel him everything, he can\'t be of help to me.

Questions:
Are you seeing a PDoc or just a GP?
How long have you been on these meds?
Did the thoughts and feelings start after taking these meds?
Have the thoughts and feelings always been there or worsened since you started your meds?

Like the others have said, if you fear that you won\'t be able to get things out to your pdoc then right it down and hand the paper to him so that he can read it, then as him to discuss it with you. He needs to know that you are mixing anxiety meds and pain meds, he also needs to know that your BP meds whichever ones you\'re on aren\'t working and that you\'re having suicidal ideations. The only way he can help you is if you tell him everything that\'s going on. Good luck with your appt tomorrow and if you don\'t feel safe tonight please call a crisis line or go to the ER.

After reading everyone\'s post, and thank you all. I am not afraid of telling the pdoc about suicide. I think I am more upset over telling him about the meds I have been mixing so I can catch a buzz to deal. I do have chronic pain in my back, hips and shoulders and am prescribed percocet and flexeril for that.

But I\'ve been taking more percocet, flexeril and klonopin than prescribed to feel better physically and mentally. And am suicidal inbetween these med binges I\'m going on.
