does anyone ever wanna have sex just to feel something?? I feel hypersexual lately but I think that emptiness is part of the problem.

absolutely i have had this!! and for me its feeling empty, lonely and unlovely that have driven the desire to have sex even more.

I have wondered about the emptiness--and am pretty sure it's part of my borderline tendencies. even though i am a 24 year relationship, the emptiness is still a huge part of my life

I ran to have an affair years ago to feel something, this was after the death of my father and I was totally numb. With the affair I felt life again and other things. hehehehe

In my twenties, I experienced the hypersexuality. I did. Discuss this problem with a therapist. I always do and they really help me.

I've always used sex to feel Loved. Maybe that's the same thing as feeling alive - I don't know.

But looking back, it sure didn't work.

I have a high sex drive either way but I've felt like this before, felt so numb and empty that you just want to feel something...it never worked though. So I don't go there anymore when I feel like that. It just makes ya feel not human somehow because you don't get the results you wanted.
