600 mg was enough to knock me out cold till then next morning. That sucks that you haven't been able to sleep and you are due at work shortly. Maybe wait till you can call in sick. Any chances of being able to ring your pdoc?

my boss is picking me up and my cell phone is shut off so i have no way of calling anyone. we dont have a land line anymore.

Wow, I can't sleep either, but that much seroquel would make me unconscious for days,,,I took 100 mg trazodone and 25 mg seroquel and slept for 8 hours after I devoured everythiing in the fridge!
/sorry typing in the dark,,,I have to get up at 8 in the am, can't even sleep, took zanax that hasn't kicked in yet, If I take 1 mg, the next day, I feel like a zombie, I think I'm verging on hypomania and just started Abilify

i just took another 400mg's so now im up to 1000mg's of xr for the night and im still up :(

my expereincde with seroquel is fucked up. I relied on it to sleep when originally it was prescribed as an antipsychotic. When i went off the med i couldn;t sleep and sleep deveatipon is a major trigger for me. Anyway yoff the med now and blah blah blah

I have been on a lot of medications but seroquel was one of the worst for me,I had so many bad side effects and had to stop taking it. I did learn from a doctor that it makes a person sleepy in low doses and it does not make you sleepy in higher doses,strange but true.

yea the regular I think would be better in regards to sleep versus the XR since it is released all day long.. I am at 600mg of the XR now and 5mg of Saphris (I take the Saphris at bed) The Seroquel never knocks me out, but man the Saphris does - I think it is because I am not used to it... because you take it under your tongue, just let it dissolve (warning it tastes nasty - use an altoid on the top of your tongue, it's a trick - but don't suck or swallow it & you cannot eat food for 10 minutes after putting it under your tongue - if you swallow the pill it will not work) It works really fast.. It does make your tongue numb though (which is normal - mine is for like 20 min) anyways - you may want to ask about it, works like a charm for me.. and I can wake up in the morning.

damn that a lot of seroquel, maybe you should call your doc to see if he/she could give you a sleep aid.

I've had mixed reactions to anti-psychotics. I was totally wired on Haldol a lot of years back. And I got really restless on Risperdal. The others just knock me out.

i ended up overdosing@1600mg's xr in a day and went to sleep. just woke up now, still cant feel my body that much. didnt show up to work for 2 days so im guessing im prob. fired :( oh well.
