I felt very alone when my internet was down

I get feeling pretty isolated a lot. Brings to mind Team America when Kim jong il (or however you spell that) sings his song: "I'm so ronery, oh so ronery...", lol. Just the fact that I always think of that when I catch myself being really lonely helps me out a little because I laugh.

But being lonely sucks. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry you feel so alone and I'm sure you have to be at leaset somewhat good with people because you are on a chat site! ;)

YES!!! Cuz iam, iv been in this city now for almost a yr & i know NO ONE...no family either....its REALLY hard. If i didnt have the internet, i'd go crazy....ok more crazy!

It's hard to find true friends out there. My closest one I currently have I met when I was in the hospital and we were in group therapy together. We understand where we both stand and what we are going thru.

We have each other so can't be completely isolated. Remember that!

I tend to isolate myself I have to make myself get out more at times. I have joined various support groups so that I get out with people and make friends. AA in particular has been a God send. I have several friends through that whom I see on a biweekly basis. I also have a good friend I met in a mental health support group. We talk every other day or so. It's important to have friends.
