I was going to go into detail about what I'm overwhelmed about, but when I write it out, it all seems so trivial!!
What can I do when I'm so overwhelmed? I've tried to just do one thing at a time to get things done...but that's nowhere near enough for me to feel better. I can't help that my son is a beeper too and we're not on the same page (besides, he's 8). I'm tired as hell and I just can't seem to muster up the motivation to get anything done!!!
What do you think I can do??

First, forgive yourself. You are doing the best you can. And that's all anyone can do. Second, it won't last forever. Your mood will change at some point. Don't worry about when. I don't know any beeper yet with or without children that hasn't gone through the same thing, including myself. My apartment is in shambles. But I just have to stick with it until I swing a bit up to attack it here and there. Don't expect miracles. But most of all be kind to yourself. Hang in there. But as I said, you have enough on your plate to start beating yourself up about it. What does it matter in the long run if thing aren't perfect? Big deal. Just take care of your son to the best of you ability and don't worry about the other stuff. It's really not that important.

I agree with RKB don't beat yourself up over it. While in the hospital we had to write out manageable goals for each day. I said that wrong measureable goals for the day (one 24 hour period). I found this helped me a lot and my counselor said to keep up with it so I have made my own spreadsheet similar to the one in the hospital and am hoping that will help me. Just know you are not alone. My apartment too is in shambles. The fridge hasn't been cleaned out in at least 2 months ewww and I can't remember the last time it was vacuumed. ((((HUGS))))

Don't put so much pressure on yourself. You can have a messy house. You can have low moods and problems with your kids. That's pretty normal stuff for the general population not just beepers. Be kind to yourself and do something nice for yourself. Stop hammering away at yourself - it's okay.

Well, this is all stuff I need to get done. I HAVE to wash everyone's clothes, I HAVE to clean up b/c I'm terrified that my landlord is going to show up and the house will be a mess.

Get your son to help you. Make it a game. Challenge him to win. I bet he thrives on challenges. As far as feeling overwhelmed. I feel the same way right now. Stupid paper.
