Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Anything you feel like talking about?
I hope you feel better. (((HUGS)))
It's not the same as an hour phone call, or lunch - but it is wonderful to have friends and support, when you are sitting there is the pits, alone...
So, please keep venting, and reply to others - its also a sure fire way to take your mind of Your problems, by helping someone with theirs!!! So take your mind of things, and give someone else a smile - you don't even have to dress or shower for us!!!!
Come as you are ((((BIG HUG))))
I hope that's how it turns out to work for you, too.
It's rough being away from all your real life support.
I wish some of your friends were available.
(((((Hugs)))))
Are you getting any help from a disabilities office for depression or bipolar disorder? If not THIS semester, you may want to consider it for upcoming semesters in case something like this happens again....they can be a liaison between you and your professors when things get bad, and arrangements can sometimes be made to get extensions.
I'm a really insecure person, and when I get to feeling "left-out" of something or ignored, it really hurts my feelings. I wish I could just blow it off like it doesn't matter, but I do know how you feel. I wish I wasn't so sensitive to stuff like that.
Do you have anyone who can study with you to help get the school work done? Maybe even contact someone who you think might be sitting in their dorm room alone......who you wouldn't normally think of calling. Maybe they are feeling alone and ignored, too.
Sometimes doing something good for someone else makes you feel TONS better (AND you'll be helping yourself with your workload at the same time!)
