Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. 1. Doing a lot of suffering not being busy or productive.
2. Trying hard to lose weight and eventually quit smoking
3. Continue to work with pdoc - I've very stable on this combo, yet not being high functioning is killing me

1. Spring is here, time to work in the garden and enjoy the longer days
2. I've lost 12 poiunds, its a start
3. Im broke, but all my bills are paid.

1. I wish I didn't talk so much
2 Working on the house, yard and have two cars to detail
3. Hanging out and staying around here, not leaving because its slow or I feel alone - I do have friends!!!!!!!

Becky...I need to get in better physical condition too. However, my health won't allow me to go to the gym. Hubby and I are walking, now that the weather is nicer.
Melise...I'm sorry you struggle with physical illness too. Kudos to you for continuing to work, even though it's difficult. It's something I really wish I could do!
Jan...Sorry to see you're struggling with depression. Hopefully, either the change in seasons or a med tweak will help you to feel better!
As for me,
Struggling with:
1) Finding a medication that will help the symptoms of my rare physical illness.
2) Reconnecting with old friends who remember me back in the days of being healthy and successful. I feel like such a failure now.
3) Trusting my PTSD counselor. Not sure how much of the problem is me and how much is her.
Grateful for:
1) My hubby and my niece. They are the sunshine in my life!
2) My friends...old and new, offline and online.
3) Every day that I'm still alive!
Working on:
1) Not worrying about judgment and rejection. This has always been a huge issue for me.
2) Not feeling like a failure, since I currently am unable to work, volunteer, travel, and live a "normal" life.
3) Learning how to prevent the memories of the past from affecting my present and future.

lack of sleep then 'camel like' sleeping for the day like today from sheer exhaustion.
the public psychiatric system here is a big struggle, (full of rules and what can and cannot be talked about)
grateful for

two of the kids and wolfgang being here for christmas.
relishing those lazy days of that week that always seems outside of time between christmas and New Year.
