I survived Hurricane Sandy:) We just lost power for 3 1/2 days no heat lost everything in the refrigerator and a few big tree branches down and the fence blew down out front but other than that I am ok. Not so bad concidering my neighboring towns are a disaster area. There were houses washed away boats landed in the middle of highways roads just washed away and disappreaded, houses just washed away and landed miles away some are unaccaunted for. My heart goes out to everyone in this storm. Thank you to all the law enforcement people and rescue people and anyone else involved in helping out Thank you to the electric compmpany for getting our electric on so soon:) So just wanted to say I am back and I am ok. I am counting my blessings now:) Hope everyone else is ok to.
I was prepared to lose power, but didn't - so my heart goes out to those still without, but very grateful yours is back on, and glad your back with us......
It was/is a HUGE storm - people are still getting hit with snow from the tail end...... So glad its not you : )
This morning, the news was talking about seawall building in places like NY.
MY BIL had to help some folks get to Bellvue and Mehz, my oldest sister is still at Heathrow in England, so it's all a huge mess.
