I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time, I know how that is. I'm going through that right now myself. I hope that you can get ahold of your pdoc and start to feel better soon.

Can't you tell your boss your having a family emergency? Why did your pdoc cut your meds down? I'm on a LOA (leave of absence) because of my body's reaction to the medication changes. Under the FMLA (family medical leave of absence) your job can't fire you legally. I work for a large corporation foetune 500 so if your company is small look into their polices.

TC, that's awful! I'm so sorry. How much longer must you work? Do you have a prn you can take to take the edge off? Sending big, calming hugs your way.

It's a lot to juggle, a med change and work. Do your best to concentrate while at work, and you are smart to call your pdoc. Is there a prn to take during the med change? Once you get home, focus on self-care. Don't worry about anybody else but your well being! Sending hugs and strength!!

Hi guys!! I just put in my third call to my pdoc. She never returns my calls. She is worthless, but. Really don't have much choice at the moment. I don't qualify for community health. I left her a message and told her that I WILL NOT stay on the lower dose, that I am going back up to the 40 mg. she wanted me to lower the Celexa so that I could start taking Brintellix. It is a new ad. You know what?? I AM SICK OF BEING A HUMAN F***** Guinea pig.

The rest of the afternoon was BAD. I felt like screaming. I can't take time off because I am still in my 90 day probation period. Also, I don't get paid if I am not there. So I suffered through it. I am going back up to the 40 mg.

I made it through work. I am gong to go to bed soon. I am sick of having SO many things wrong

Thyroid, diabetes, gallbladder issues, arthritis, long term side effects from surgery that I had when I had cancer.....oh yeah and BP, ANXIETY.

Not trying to make anyone queasy, but if you ever want to check out the following words:: MOTHER OF ALL SURGERIES in relation to appendix cancer. this is the surgery that I underwent in Sept of 2007. Six months before that, I had another major surgery where they did a complete hysterectomy and removed several feet of my colon and scraped a crapload of tumor from my abdomen. So, yeah...I have been through ALOT. and if I had known how bad I was going to feel mentally now, I never would've even bothered. I would probably be dead by now. I know on my heart that if my cancer returns, there will not be another "fight". I am tired of fighting. So tired.

You have been through a lot and still going through a lot but youre a fighter dont give up.

With brintilix you have to watch out for serotonin syndrome so thats probably why you had to lower your celexa. Be careful.
My hubs was on brintilix and couldnt take certain meds with it.
I would wait to go back up to 40 mg of the celexa because its ssri till you get to talk to your pdoc.
I know you feel horrible but you dont want serotonin syndrom its a major interaction when i looked it up on drugs.com

Hi. If it helps at all I can completely. I hv ton of medical crap too and adding the BP on top of it is just too much !!! All I can say is take a monument at a time. Even if it's min to min. Med changes suck. If you can you might want to try to find a new pdoc it would help. I am really luck to hv a really good one
