My new "job" lasted a DAY. yeah. A DAY. the woman I worked with all day on Monday called me an hour after I left and told me they didn't want me to come back. That they had decided to go down a "different path" and that she would send me a check for that day's pay. I asked her why and she wouldn't say why. So...that night I went to the ER because I was feeling seriously ill. I couldn't breathe when I walked. I had pneumonia. I didn't get home till like three am. So Tuesday, I got my rx filled and then slept most of the day. Went to bed early. I woke up extremely depressed, about everything. Plus my sleep and meds got all off track because of being up for almost 24 hours. I started crying and couldn't stop. I texted a friend and told her how I was feeling. She ended up calling the police to do a welfare check on me. I told them I was fine when they showed up. I was very emotional though. I said "am I depressed? Yes. Do I wish I were dead? Yes. Am I going to kill myself? No. I don't believe in suicide". So they ended up leaving. I had an interview this afternoon for a job that would be perfect for me. I also may have an interview with another company. They emailed me about my resume. I need to call them in the morning. I was able to make it in to my crap evening job slapping teabags together. What a GLORIOUS position THAT is
I am feeling very awful about pretty much everything in my life right now. I hardly EVER cry, but today, I cried. Cried because of the constant flood of job rejection, over feeling alone and helpless and hopeless. I seriously need SOMETHING to go right for me...and SOON.
GOING TO SLEEP NOW Thank you for your support and friendship!!!!

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

So glad you went to the ER. Pneumonia doesn't cure itself! And glad you had a good day of rest.
I'm a fan of don Miguel Ruiz and his book "The Four Agreements." He outlines four basic principles to live by: 1) Be impeccable with your word; 2) DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY; 3) Don't make assumptions; and 4) Always do your best.
With respect to the job on Monday, don't take it personally. They decided to go in a different direction. Don't assume that means there is anything wrong with you or your performance.
It's exciting that you have a couple more interviews. You're doing a great job of doing your best even when you aren't feeling well. We believe in you!!
I hope you are feeling better soon.
