i am having major panic attacks this evening. I wish I could just die and get it over with. Everything is going wrong all at once. I am laid off and therefor am extremely depressed and anxious. Also, I had to have a breast biopsy on Wednesday and won't know the results until Monday. And to top it off, I think I am going to have to find a new pdoc. The one I have has given me such shitty care that I don't even know how much of lamictal I am supposed to be taking. I am having a very bad time.

Sorry you're having these problems. I don't think death is an improvement on life, I always look at making things the best they can be. Look up lamictal on one of the med sites or just search "typical dose of lamictal" and you'll at least get a guideline of how much to use. (Isn't that on your prescription label anyway?)

TC, you've really been having a rough time. In the morning, can you call the pharmacy and ask what the most current script is for? If they're not open, put it on your to-do list for Monday. As for the biopsy, of course you're an anxious wreck waiting for the results! Try the best you can to be calm, to do calming things. Worrying is not going to make it be processed any faster, so you might as well try to focus on other things.

On the up side, it sounds like another pdoc would be a good thing. I know the trouble of finding a new one and seeing if it works out or not, but I will tell you it is worth it!!

It's true TC. But death isn't the answer. A new pdoc is! And Sadie is right - you can always call the pharmacy and they'll tell you what your current script is. I hope you're feeling better soon. It's a shitty feeling not knowing - waiting - panic attacks. Can you take a prn?

Regarding the biopsy results....I completely understand. Do you have a prn anxiety med you can take? I'm sending you positive thoughts!
