For the past two weeks, i have been struggling with terrible anxiety,obsessive thoughts abiut death, not being able to sleep, not being able to sit still/feel like i can't sit still. I thought it migt be that i am on too mych thyroid med..th thyroid dr refused to lower my dose. So i contactd my psych and she blew me off too. I am pissed becuz i pay alo of money to see these idiots and they pretty much ignore me. :(

Feeling awful and very frustrated :(

hi, it sounds a bit like mixed state (if you are BP1) or dyphoria (if you are BP2). Whatever it's possibly the worst state...


I see you have seroquel - are you able to take a little more safely? That is likely to reign it in or at least help with the sleep.

Please push your pdoc for an appointment - it's important to get their help on this.

I have mixed states but meds take the edge off, don't give up pushing your pdoc l put my foot down or move to a new one. You know how unwell you are tell her that you have suicidal thoughts really push the point and remind her how much you are paying for good care, if she still wont listen its time to move on its not fair that you have to fight when you are at your most vulnerable.

i agree with all the above. I think it may be time to see a new pdoc. But take VickyBea's advice first. Mixed states are the hardest to treat. Sometimes hospitalizations help most. Good luck and will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers
