Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

It sounds like being back at work was a bit jarring, maybe a bit overwhelming. After a week in the hospital, it sounds normal to be on edge, especially when people are asking you about your absence. Did their questions seem intrusive? Could that have attributed to the anxiety? It helps me when in those situations, to think about it objectively. For instance, it sounds like these people care enough to notice that you were gone. Don't panic. It sounds like you were led to a response. Is there someone you can speak to who can help you walk through and understand your reaction? It could be as simple as you're just not acclimated to being back at work yet. Take it day by day, moment by moment. You're strong and believe you will work through the anxiety until it's conquered.
Take your time and things will get better, just go slow and take it a day at a time.
