Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Are you sure you aren't going manic? Maybe a med adjustment is in order.
Count some sheep and I'll cross my fingers.
I feel for you. My sleep routines are all messed up too.
Have you seen your doctor about it? 4 days no sleep is really rough.
Maybe try laying down and listen to an audiobook? That's what seems to help me sometimes.
I'm not trying or meaning to be overdramatic, but I would call the psychiatrist. I don't know a whole lot about sleep management but I know that the human body can't take much in this area.
whatever you do, don't take too many benadryl... i wish my pdoc would have just taken me seriously, having bp1 like you and all, and having the insomnia problem in such an intense form, and rx'd me a real sleep aid to help.
well i'm wishing you the best and hoping you don't go to any extreme measures, as i know it is easy to do in that state. please go talk to the doctor and have him/her solve this for you.
