Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Please contact the crisis line asap.
I've learned to just let the other person know what I am thinking to prove or disprove these thoughts.
Maybe you could talk to this person and let him know how you are feeling? Be prepared for either answer; have a plan in place for both but NOT suicide. Maybe call a friend to be with you during this conversation?
I wish you well.
it's important to remember that it isn't true, and to not listen to that negative thought in your head.
Whatever has happened for you to look directly to the finality...it is a distorted and wrong reflex...usually because of accelerated reaction to so many pieces of shit hitting the fan at once, and therefore making the future seem totally daunting.
It's best to see a doc/psych/nurse and talk and converse and listen to the solutions they will offer you.
It won't be as bad if you quickly see the people and tell them. They will be able to break your problems down into easier to understand blocks. Then they can convince you that you CAN indeed live and have help in feeling yr way above it, after all.
But please go and see them. When it happens to me I have people help me.
All the best
It's hard enough to lose someone you love. It's doubly hard if you're correct in your assumption that he's not even going to tell you.
I'm sorry that you're in such pain. I hope the thoughts DO pass, as they have done before.
As hurt as you feel right now, it won't always be like this. It will get better.
If you need more help than you can get here or from those around you, contact a crisis hot line or take yourself to the emergency room.
I used to live and die by my friends/boyfriends. Still have a tendency to go there. But I am learning to appreciate me, and not build my world around others. Because things happen in relationships, whether break ups or even death. True love is a commitment, not an emotion. If you find yourself, you may find someone that you can really trust and commit too, because you will not be dependent on them, but rather appreciate them for who they are.
Hope you are starting to feel better, and you are looking for a new road to travel, instead of the familiar downhill one of depression. Hugs and God bless!
