After many years of battling my sister was recently dx BP. I breathed a sigh of relief once they decided to adjust her meds and listen to her needs etc.
My sister went away on Tuesday, with her 4 kids to stay with a friend, her friend stated she didn't want her to take her seroquel whilst staying with her as it made her sleepy and her friend didn't want to be left looking after her kids etc.
Thursday I spoke to my sister, she was presenting to me as manic, and acting very strange. She called me late at night upset because she wanted to go for a walk.
Since then nobody had heard from her, she wasn't answering calls or texts and hadn't been online. Until tonight. Whilst I was out she wrote a message on her facebook saying she didn't want contact with ANYONE. She would answer emails/texts etc when she was ready possibly in the next month or so.
I'm concerned that this is partly to do with her friend (who I dislike) and partly to do with her mania. I'm now concerned about my nieces and nephews and my sisters well being.
I've considered calling social services and asking to speak to her social worker and also the crisis team, but as she is away I don't know what they can do. Her friend wont speak to me either, do I make a call to somebody as an emergency or wait it out until after the bank holiday?

I wish you the best and hope that she does contact you to at least let you know that she is okay and the kids are okay. How old are her kids? Could you contact them and ask if everything seems okay? I wish I could help you more. xo

Myself and one of my other sisters are just waiting it out, if we don't hear back from her we are going to send her another message and tell her we're concerned and willing to contact someone to help her and the children.
The children are between 6 and 13.
