HI I am new to all this, just wondering if anyone else is on geodon I just started it, after a precession of others over the last couple of years. First it was Seroquel and the abilify, and another I can't remember right now and now my doc is saying this may not be working for me. I guess it's supposed to help with depression, but it sure the hell doesn't. Any thoughts or experience with this drug? What pisses me off is that I know that lithium works but she won't let me take it, Damn Doctors.
I took Geodon and had great success with it. Took care of the psychosis, anxiety, helped a little with depression (but mainly I am helped by taking two anti-depressants - weird for a BP1, I know). There was also no weight gain with the Geodon.

I was on geodon for about 2years it worked wonderfully but pooped out. No it does nothing for depression. it is suppose to balance your moods though. It really cleared up my thoughts.
any way you might wanna ask about the abilify though I think you can still take that along with geodon and it should help with depression. I'm no pdoc though. What is your diagnosis just curious?
