Today is my wedding anniversary. I can't help but feel a sense of joy and pride that we are at this point. We are proof that marriage can work. But it is just that...work. I am so blessed to have my husband by my side. He truly is my hero and comic relief at the same time. We would be leaving fora trip to Denver Thursday but we have to reschedule because my mom was diagnosed with cacer again (she's only 56) and she starts chemo and radiation this week. But she is treatable! Just another example of how he is wonderful. You see my mom has lived with us since we have been married. Before she was sick he welcomed her into our home. We are a family. A different type of family but one none the less. I hope you-the reader will smile and rejoice with us. For marriage, family, friends and hope in all things.
