If any of you young girls can help me help her I would be forever grateful.....thank you...
I'm sorry that your daughter is going through a really rough time. It seems most teenagers who experience psychological disorders have issues with going to school. For my senior year, I have opted to stay home and finish my credits via online college courses. Even though this meant losing my place as valedictorian, I simply couldn't bring myself to return to my high school.
I'm 18 and tentatively diagnosed with type 2 bipolar, it is hard to tell in young people. The rages and depression sound very familiar. What your daughter calls her demons is not like anything I've experienced. Maybe a form of schizophrenia, or a serious issue with her meds?
I'm sorry you have to go through this as a parent. I have watched my parents struggle a lot and they actually see my therapist once in a while to work on dealing with it. Both you and your daughter are welcome here.
Hope something on here was helpful. Please feel free to message me with questions about my bipolar disorder and the things I've tried to help it.
Finding someone you can trust (like on this website) could give you a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. (It may be the internet, but hey, it's better than no one right?) When I had severe agoraphobia and stayed home all day, the only people I would talk to were other people with anxiety on medhelp.com.
Everyone with some mental disorder, obviously, goes through a rough time. Some times are rougher than others. You just have to keep encouraging yourself to move forward, because there's an amazing life ahead of you.
If you need someone to talk to, ever, you can message me. :)
