I wonder how many other people do some weight training, besides biking? I actually started mine to help a whiplash injury, and found I felt better. I have been doing it for 5 years now, on off days to riding. I lately started focusing on core strength, which I had neglected, because any kind of sit ups is out because of the neck injury.
I have found a few alternate exercises, and concentrate on them. The nice thing, is they are actually working - my stomach is flatter, and I find it easier to ride, because my center is stronger. I thought it was all about building leg strength. Great surprise for me.

I love my weights, and found life's little hassles are easier handled when you feel the strength coiled in your muscles. It gives confidence, and even a little swagger.

Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.
