I was our riding on a trail this evening and the sun blinded me. I hit a small rock and ended up in the ditch and broke my wrist. I'm in the ER right now awaiting a reduction. I am contemplating giving up riding outside, since this is the third injury in 3 years. I nigh be too fragile to continue!

Marlene, am so sorry to see this,I was inspired by your ride in the trees and mountains. Bless your heart, prayers for you. Ouch, a broken wrist, and your third injury. I hope that you are going to be okay, recover the wrist, and can find a way to keep riding, a shame you may have to stop riding outside. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers Marlene ((((hugs))))

It will be a while before I can even get on my trainer in the basement. The pain is really bad. and I won't know till Thursday what the prognosis is. I will probably will keep riding. I am more of a risk taker than I knew!

But I won't be outside on my bike till April, unless we move to warmer climes. I will post here when I am able to ride in the basement.

How goes your bike riding? My son, who was with me when I crashed told me I need to get 3 wheeler like you.

Kneedeep told me she also took a fall, but is more or less ok.
