I love riding my bike. I just spent a long, cold winter riding in the basement!
I've been out a few times, but today was the first time it was warm enough to be comfortable. It got to 63 F or 16 C.
I rode 19 km in 61 minutes. Average speed 18.3 kph, not sabby!
It will be interesting to see if I am stiff in the legs tomorrow- it usually hits 24-48 hours later

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

I haven't been around in a long time. I am admin in a private group, and I would like to upgrade someone else to that position. I thought I knew how to do that, but the prompt has gone missing. Or is it not allowed to upgrade someone else to admin? I just find "ban and demote" under "Edit." I don't get notifications to DS anymore, but I wil come back in a few days to find out the answer. There...
That is Good time for the km you rode. Not shabby at all.
I ride outside only and I am not one to ride hard long and fast. I am a slow rider...but I do enjoy the ride...and I celebrate all types of riders both fast and slow.
Hope your legs are not too stiff and glad your here.
I am hoping it will get a bit warmer tomorrow, so I can go out a bit longer and farther!
The last 3 summers I was on an RA chemo med that interfered with my breathing. I'm very excited to see if I can recover a bit of speed, esp. climbing hills!
But I think that slow is just as flood as fast. It's the joy of riding that is the point, not the speed. Also, remember those times are km, which makes them seem after than mikes per hour. I will try and convert it to US measurements, next time!
How is your knee doing?
And no need to convert to miles Marlene...its not hard for me to convert. I think we should convert to km as well.
