They tossed him overboard which is how he ended up in the "belly" of the "fish", sometimes referred to as a "whale", though it is difficult to confirm either sea creature. 5. Ah yes Psalm 107:23. They see the works of the LORD, and His womders in the deep. Psalm 107:24(NKJV). 6. Because the crowd that had gatehred was very large. Jesus needed this "floating" platform to get His message of the parable to the people. 7. Paul took Barnabas along with him on his first missionary journey. 8. Only our Lord and Savior would be relaxed enough to be asleep during that storm!!! 9. Actually the soldiers, who were under the centurion's command, cut the ropes and let the lifeboat fall into the sea. So they remained on board the ship as Paul had instructed them and not a single soul was lost that day. 10. They were mending there nets of course.

Once again, just goes to show what I FON'T know!!!

I liked this. I only knew a couple of the answers though. Means I need to do some studying.

We ALL need to do more studying of God's Word my friends. The Bible study group I attend ay my local church in a huge help. Reading the Word every morning has been a wondeful blessing and I try to devote at least three to four hours each Sunday to reading the Word as well. There is a little thing I do sometimes that I like to call the Gospel "marathon". I simply start with Matthew and read the entire four books in one sitting. I have NEVER failed to come up with verses that truly "hit" my spirit in a very special way and inspire me to be a better Christian. And I do "study" as I am reading too. My trusted Revell Bible DIctionary is open right along side my Bible in case I need further insight into what I am reading which is a lot of the time. I have a couple of "study" Bibles, but I don't use them because I find them much too cumbersome and I can't flip to a specific place in my Bible as fast as I can with my little and worn New King James Bible. I say to each his own, but for me that is what works best.
