Then I came upon some unexpected advice from an unexpected source. This advice was not asked for, nor was it of any benefit to me. I have spent hours dealing with a range of emotions, searching for the source of this well aimed dart.
The poison, fortunately was not lethal and the symptoms are now subsiding. The bewilderment and the hurt became anger which then turned inward upon myself. Acceptance that I had somehow made myself a target, unknowingly to an unknown person does not negate or invalidate who I am. Nor does it invalidate the person who felt the need to hurt me.
I wish no animosity, nor apology. Simply to have my say on the matter without rancor. Fair is fair.
