I'm very sorry to hear of your terrible loss. Your cousin was so young, and it's so horribly unfair. I lost my fiance in 2002, and it happened unexpectedly. He seemed in great health, yet had a heart attack or stroke that left him in a coma. 1 week later, knowing he was brain dead, we took him off life support and he died. I began having panic attacks. I think I was living a long anxiety attack. Mornings and the earlier part of the day for me were always way worse than the nighttime. At nighttime, cocooned in bed, the world quiet and people at home safe and cocooned somehow was easier for me to bear. In my own experience, it was the anti-anxiety medication that helped me through the ordeal. I needed the anti-depressant medication too, but the anti-anxiety medication helped me feel like I was no longer living one great big nightmare. Also, joining a grief group through hospice and having others who shared a very similar tragedy helped me A LOT. I actually looked forward to those weekly meetings. I began to feel there was still life worth living. Whatever you find that can help, please know I'm just so sorry you lost your cousin. Wishing you healing {{{{{{{TwinkieGirl}}}}}}}} ~ Kathy
Oh my God! I know exactly how u feel. I don't want to function anymore. I just want the pain to yo away. I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost both of my parents recently and it seems that people expect u to go on as if nothing happened. Sometimes I don't think I can take it anymore. I don't understand why people can't give u time to grieve and be compassionate and empathetic while u find your peace. I will be praying for not only u, but all of us who are in pain and trying to find our way.
