Tabloids are evil. If I could say something to them I would say"I'm so sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers." And if I was close to them I would say call me anytime.. even if you're crying. I'm availible anytime to talk. Basically just show them my condolences at this very hard time. It must be ten times worse with tabloids, I could'nt even imagine. I agree with you, they should just leave this family alone!

I wish we could reach out to them but they are so isolated because of the fame. They will hurt and not have a support group. Pray for them.

I wished the media would back off too! I think its so wrong that they feel the need to show us everything, let this family grieve.
I pray the media and poparazzi dont turn Jett's death into a circus like they did with Anna Nicole, and also her son.

I would offer my sincere thoughts and prayers and hope that I could be there for them whenver. I would NOT wait for them to call me to help, I would just BE THERE. I cannot imagine having to deal with seeing this loss portrayed on T.V. all day, in the papers, magazines, all accusations as to whether he received the proper treatment. I cannot imagine losing a child, let alone someone saying that I probably DID NOT get him the help he should have had. Shame on others, hopefully they will never be in Travolta's shoes. Hugs, Alice

I would say that I understand the pain and heartache they are in, and if they need anything I am there for them. I know exactly how this mom and dad are feeling at this moment in time. The whole family will be in my prayers. I know first hand how horrible the media is especially when it comes to the death of a child, and we can only hope that the media will let go of this one and let the family grieve for the loss of Jett.

I, to would offer my sincere condoleneces to them. I have always been a BIG Travolta fan, and I feel so sick for this family. They seemed to have been able to maintain a good family life even though they were celebrities.

I also think the media is trying to make something out of their loss thats just not there. Their child died, let them grieve in peace!

I was watching CNN last night, and they had a panel discussing why this happened, should the nanny be cahrged for not being there, etc...I'm sure Jett wouldn't want someone in the bathrom with him, at his age. What the hell does the media think? They are grieving the loss of their child. They do not need to see or hear these wild accusations and theories broadcast on televison. It was a result of an illness, nothing more. I am sure everyone did what they could, he just passed away anyway.

I would tell them how sorry I was for there loss and give them this website.

I wanted to let you all know that I went to JT offical site and sent him and email and i informed him of this site and told him that if they choose to come to this site no one will know who he is. but I did tell him that all of my DS Family sends him hugs, prayers and love for support

We just lost our 17 yr old in September-I would just say I am so sorry for your loss because there are no right words. I too, would wish everyone would leave them alone for a while. People need to grieve and need their space.

Its funny that i come across this actually, i am just watching that ET show and they did a long segment on the family which is on again...i dont think i would say anything to be honest i would just hug them all because they have had so many people say i am sorry, and maybe they are over people saying sorry all the time being so exposed to the media...maybe thats just my opinion...but if i had to say something i would tell them that its ok to cry about it and people will understandd if they mysterously dissapear on a vaccation to get away from things..

My brother died about 5 1/2 years ago. I was 17 and he was 21. What ever happens do not tell the person "I know what you are going through." Even if you lost a significant person, you still do not know what the person is going through. I would tell them that their loved one is in a better place and NOT suffering in any way. There are no tears in heaven. I would tell them that I am here for them for what ever they need, even just a shoulder to cry on. I would pray for them. I would not tell them that "it could be worse," or "it will get easier."

I think I agree with Jasonswifey that we should never tell anyone we know how they feel. Somehow that seems maybe to minimize their pain or at least that is how it makes me feel when its been said to me. I know that no one ever intends for that comment to be taken that way. It is not an intentional thing...please don't take that the wrong way.

Often when someone loses a loved one, they just want to know that they will not be forgotten by everyone except the closest family members. I know that is how I feel about the sister I lost 2/07.

So for the Travolta Family, I say my heart aches for you now and the days and months to come. That you should keep his memory alive in whatever way you see fit. People around you that do not want to talk to you about Jett, let them go hang out with someone else. We do not forget those that we love and cherish as soon as the memorial service is over.

My deepest sympathy and sorrow for the whole family. They can take refuge in each other and their love, and when they are able their happy memories of Jett(it may take a while before they can.) Also they are religous folks and will get comfort from their church(or center) and their beliefs.I am not familiar with their faith, but I have had 2 sons and they died at the ages of 29(in 2003) and 38,(in 2007) and my step daughter died (in 2008.)My heart hurts for them very deeply.
