My mother and I were thick as thieves. I miss her very much! Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. She has been gone for 6 months. I just need her more today than I ever did in my youth I think. I cry, I write, I just want her back. I don't know how much longer I can hurt like this. When will the pain subside?

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother January of 1980 and I have always lived my life the way I thought she would want me to. That is how I kept her close to me. I believe she is in heaven watching over me. Think of how she would want you to live and look after your children. She is still close by. (((Hugs)))

Honey, hugs. I have lost my mother on May 31, 2011. And not a day goes by that I do not wish that I could pick up the phone and call her. I know that she does not want me to cry or miss her. You are still in the early stages of grief. Give yourself a chance. You need to accept the fact that she has moved on. I know we will see them again, and all this will seem like they were in another room. My condolences my friend, Hugs again

Condolences to all. I can really connect to Veronica's reply. Live your life like our loved ones would appreciate. That is a great connection to an internal peace and comfort. Enjoy the joys that they enjoyed, maybe not in action, but in thought. Many gentle hugs of support.

I am so sorry for the loss of you Mom. It will help if you keep somewhat busy; do you have any interests? You could volunteer in some organization (animal rescue, a soup kitchen, etc,). I find that helps me a lot, just being with other people and feeling I am helping others.

I am truly sorry for your loss. My mom passed January 2014. I think about her every day. I feel the same as you sometimes. You've lost a part of you. That hole in your heart will shrink through time but it will always be there. I remember & tell loved ones the funny and happy memories we had. It's just a matter of thinking our mothers are at peace and even though we miss their physical being, they'll always live on in our hearts until we meet them again.

I'm so sorry for your loss, it may take a long time for you to get over the grief, there is no time limit and everyones different. My mum died of cancer in 2010 it has taken me years to stop dreaming about her, and waking up thinking I'll see if mum wants to come round the shops today and then realise that she is gone. What I would say is give yourself time to grieve, be kind to yourself, grief isnt a race to get over it can take years. I hope you feel better soon.

I could tell you that it will get easier and that the pain will subside but it is not that simple. I know how you feel. I lost my mom May 31st, 2008. I never got to say good bye to her. For the first 4 years I kept myself at a distance from my family. It never helped at all. My advice for you is to keep your family close to you. Smile through the pain even though it may feel like the world is against you.

I feel the exact same way! I just want her back -- I don't want to feel sad. I'm very sorry for your loss -- I also loved my mother dearly, she was/is my best friend and always will be. It's also been 6 months for me and even though I function, I miss her and wish I could have one more lunch, one more drive, one more time on the phone, one more "I love you". I can't believe I won't see her anymore -- the thought makes me feel horrible. I dream about her, hoping for any contact -- I ask her questions in my dreams and sometimes get answers. I keep telling everyone, I'd be all right if I knew her forwarding address! Just to know I'll see her again one day -- I love her so much, my gentle, sweet, beautiful Mom. I miss you Mom

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
