Pam
My heart goes out to you because of the death of your son and also because your ex's terminal illness and imminent death from it is still affecting you in spite of your divorce from her. I'll definitely be in prayer for you, because I know that dealing with two losses at one time is in many ways incredibly devastating--even if one of them is anticipated. God bless you and the rest of your family forever!
aloha,
JLG
During this time of reflection and grief, it's important you take care of you. Solicit the support of friends and family; and if you are a man of faith, talk to your clergy. If you find the pain unbearable, consider talking to a professional (pastoral counselor, clinical counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist). These people are trained to assist you in crisis.
Finally, take solace in the fact that the heart does go on. Though bruised and battered it may be, eventually it heals and compels us to move forward.
It's me, JLG. I just thought I'd stop by to reassure you that I'm in continual prayer for you and care about how you are faring at this time.
