29 and widowed. Sigh.... sympathy is ok but coming from people who have no idea what your going thru feels empty. I seen the horrible events of his death.... and I try hard to keep myself busy enough to not think of it.... it hurt on so many different levels. I guess im just trying to talk to someone who is going thru the same shit.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I guess you can add me to the list of people who don't know what you are going through.
But then it is very possible that you don't know what I am going through either.
But that should not stop us from supporting each other.
My loss are compounded: in the last 5 years I have lost my birth family: my only sibling (sister), mother and father. In that order. All in the month of August (my birth month), just different years. Nobody to sit with and remember "that Christmas in the mountains at the resort that was going out of business" Or hundreds of other events in my life that are important to me.
No matter how long or short you were married I am sure that you have your hundreds of memories that you long to have him to share them with. So yes, I get that part. But I don't understand the loss of a spouse. I may have helped dad through the loss of mom, but my brother in law was better at it, he had lost his wife (dad's daughter and my sister) recently and the pains of it were still with him.
So we will share your load, and ask you to help share our load. And somewhere in the process we will both have a lighter load, and we will both understand each other's load better.
Gentle hugs, and welcome to our group. I am truly sorry for the reasons that have brought you here, but pleased to meet you.
There is a wonderful Widows and Widowers board on this site for people who have lost their partner....I have put up a post on it and it contains a link to the board... You will have many people on there to talk to who understand and want to support you.... Another hug and a blessing....xo
