You'll notice my board name "MamasChild1". I'm originally, "MamasChild". As if Mama's 2-year anniversary didn't hurt enough this week, I temporarily lost email connections, passwords, etc., due to MSN changes. I had to reapply with a similar name but I'd noticed several mails and messages for me that I never got to read and can't access due to new board name. I hope those of you can re-send them to me at new name.
Tomorrow is 9/11 - significant for our country. Significant for me because on that day in 2001, I came home early from work and noticed a change in Mama - she didn't know what was happening in NYC - didn't even question why I came home early that day. Just greeted me with a smile - so unlike my mother not to be worried / having heard the news. Ironically, six years later - to the day - she would be buried on Sept. 11th. It was the first time I couldn't take time to watch the commemoration in NYC. I was getting ready for Mama's funeral. Like tonight, was her wake. Like now, I was delivering her eulogy. I have my own personal 9/11 on 9/11.

I am sorry it also holds so much more for you, sorry for your loss. While everyone else thinks of 9/11 their way, you have the loss of your Mama and so it becomes a goblet already filled to the range for you.
Your Mama sounds so gentle and caring the way you describe her. I almost see her careful and warm smile before me.
