i have to tell everyone the lastest tragedy in this life.My cat Tooey who was 11 years old died on 7/20/2010.I have been feeling awful because right now I am having severe financial problems.I took care of Tooey I was always buying her toys and I brought cat food and dry cat food every week.I never neglected Tooey.She was my cat.She would follow me around the house.She would sleep with me and sleep on my bed and then get me up at 4 o clock for her feeding.She was the nicest cat i have ever had and she loved me more then Brad.She was in the yard when I discovered Brads body and she stood by me until i called the police.Then she ran and jumped on my bed and wouldnt let anyone inthe house.She was excited when the police came and i had to put her in the bathroom.Then she calmed down and she went to sleep,but on the night that Brad took his life....Tooey never left my side.For a few days.she guarded my bed and wouldnt go outside.She was a lady and used the litterbox and waited until the I changed the litter.She was just so fill of love that I cant replace her and now i am having more money problems.I cant make the rent again for August and i dont know what to do.I am still not working because I hurt my leg and i cant stand up for long hours.I use a cane and I am in pain every since i fell.This happened on June 8th.The pain is just unbearable and noone believes me.but when you are
the survivor of a suicide well,,,it helps if people understood more.Noone knows what to say to me and some people have stopped calling.Noone knows what to do.But I would like a few cards for Tooey.There are cards when you lose a dog or a cat.I would like to have one because this pain in unbearable.I made a grave for her in the yard and I visit it everyday and I cry everyday because right now I am inconsolable and I dont make good company.This is the worst summer that I ever had and I cant wait until summer is over.Summer should be a happy time for all..but for me is has been nothing but hard ache and bad luck compiled with death.And anyone who loves a animal and loses it suddenly there is nothing that a vet could have done for Tooey.I have got 2 fans here and i have got an air conditioner.I always gave Tooey and Kramer water and they would drink a lot of water being its the summer.But Tooey couldnt be saved.You see,Tooey had a stroke and I did not know the signs of it .All I did know is that Tooey had health problems I did not know about because noone knew.The vet found her to be in good health.She was fine last month and the stroke came on her suddenly.Then this little cat whom I adopted from the shelter let out a scream.Then she started to foam at the mouth and she was had a seizure.Tooey died in my arms and I will never forget her.Everyone should have a devoted animals like Tooey.I will never get another cat again for this pain is just too much.Kramer is taking it very hard.I raised them together.I am paying attention to Kramer and loving her special because I cant afford to lose two cats.Tooey..mama misses you and i love you..you did a real good job..rest in peace..I will see at the Rainbow Bridge.Love Vader.

Noone can replace the cats we've loved but there are always other cats that need good homes and your love. After I lost my Katarina, Pokey became her replacement and soon I learned to love this cat as much as I ever did Katarina. Both just gave me the love I never got from my own family members and my ex-husband and abusive boyfriends. I even had a boyfriend tell me I loved Pokey more than him. Well she never cheated on me either or played his fun games or screamed and yelled at me if I said something wrong.
I will get another cat when I return home. No cat will take her place and it hurts when they die but I have her ashes I will be getting and putting them in a special bag with her toys and keeping them in my bedroom until I can bury her by my parents in Oregon. I already have about a million pictures of my beloved cat in albums but putting one on my refrigerator door and by my computer. Pokey was always there with me every place I went including the bathroom, when I was watching television, on my computer, or in bed. She followed me everywhere.
I hope things are getting better for you but please don't let the grief keep you from loving another cat. They will pay you back 100 fold.
