i want to inform everyone at Daily Strength that today at 8.30 EST my aunt died in the hospital.She was 85 and it was kidney failure.She had been sick for quite some time.She was my godmother and one of my best friends and she was just so sickly after the birth of her first child.Back then,things were different.She wanted 4 children..My first cousin is in heaven...You see my first cousin named was Robert was born with
the cord around his neck.The doctors tried to revive him..but it was to no avail.He was a very beautiful baby and he was never really woke up.You couldnt talk about this in the 1950s..I was 12 years old when this happened.My aunt buried Robert and it was private..She decided to do this.Noone else was invited.He was buried in a white little coffin.I wanted to go..but was told that children arent allowed.All I know in the 1950s her tears were shed.This is why people have to talk when this happened.She told me several years ago..she never got over this.Today I am going to get a sympathy card and such and when
this happenes in Italian families..there is no
Christmas card.She gave me a good education.She gave me love of books.And she loved a song that
I cant find..It is called "My Time is Your Time"
It was sung by Rudy Vallee..this was before my
time.And to all..please remember me and I ask for
prayers right now..I am still going to celebrate
Christmas and such..she wanted me to..but for
today and part of tomorrow..I will do my best
and mourn my aunt and If I have offened anyone
and if I said anything that you didnt like..I am asking for forgiveness and remember I will writing at 6 0 clock tomorrow night.Until then.

cats and animals and remember that our young people are hurting too.I leave all of you now as I am going to church and then the seniors are taking me to the aquarium..old fogies like me.

You have my deepest sympathy, May God bless you and your family during this time. Pray for his strength and mercy, I'll pray for you too.

I am sorry you are going thru such a hard time right now. Aunts are special people in our lives and it seems like yours was more special because of the kind of relationship you had with yours. I just wish my relationship with all my aunts (I do have a wonderful relationship with one of my aunts tho) was that good.
My Dad passed away in May, 2007. I am still having a difficult time with it. I do miss him very much. You can view his memorial at http://lawrence-james-harris@gonetoosoon.co.uk
I made that site for him shortly after he died. I am about the only one from any of my family who goes to that site. Pretty sad.
Holidays are a difficult time for me yet, too. I know eventually it will get better tho... I hope !

I am so sorry to hear of the death of your beloved death. Even though she was ill, there is never a good time to lose someone you love so very much! I had an Uncle that I loved like that, he was a 2nd father to me and your Aunt gave of herself to you because she loved you and truly wanted to be a mother. Sounds like you were more like her own child (to her)
