The passage of time.

I occassionally find myself reflecting back on the passage of time and specific events. I was watching some old u tube highlights the other evening of The LA. Lakers and although it was enjoyable I specifically remembered one particular highlight where my late father and I watched that game. I ended up feeling melancholy as a result of that.Also seeing some of my old favorite players who have long since retired makes me not only think about the passge of time in my own life but also my own mortality in not having my dad around anymore.

i know what it's like to loose a dad! i'm very sorry about your loss! my dad was a football fan! so, when other players come up, it brings back memories! hang in there!

I also feel melancholy when I think of my sister, she loved sports,all sports. I see a game and think she would be glued to the tv rooting for her team to win. She really loved the Dallas Cowboys, other family members had opposing teams as their favorites, the competetion between them was some time very irritating! But what I wouldn't give to hear them arguing now.
When she died we had her buried in her Cowboy jersey. All the pallbearers wore their teams jersey, we asked anyone who had a sports jersey to please wear them 140 jersey's were there in all. What a beautiful site. One I know my sister would have loved. I know I will never forget. Never forge those moment's cherish them forever, Bushy
