The Resurrection of the dead will come soon. The dead are asleep in their graves and know nothing, they are not in heaven watching us suffer, what kind of heaven would that be, to see their parents weeping for them how could they be happy. The bible tells us not even King David has been resurrected yet (bible verse below). They are not in Hell being tormented either. they are asleep and know nothing waiting to be awaken by Jesus at his second coming. They are resting, God is a loving father, and wants no one to suffer. When his son Jesus Christ returns he will wipe every tear from our eyes. Be patient and have hope things are going to get better, Our Holy Heavenly Father promised us.
" No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man [Jesus Christ] who is in heaven" (John 3:13). David, a man after God's own heart, "did not ascend into the heavens" (Acts 2:34; 13:22). Instead, the Bible compares death with a sleep (1 Thessalonians 4:13). When Christ returns, He will awaken them with a resurrection (John 5:25).
At death, that spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 8:7-8; 12:7). " For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished."(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6). The lie that man is an immortal soul began with Satan, the father of lies (Genesis 3:3-4; John 8:44).
If a lie gives false comfort to some, the truth gives real hope and comfort to all who understand it (John 8:32; 17:17).
" The righteous perishes, and no one takes it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil. He shall enter into peace; they shall rest in their beds" (Isaiah 57:1-2). The apostle John wrote, " Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord...that they may rest from their labors" (Revelation 14:13)
EZEKIEL CHAPTER 37
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
God said: "I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young" (Ezekiel 36:10-11).
ISAIAH CHAPTER 61
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
ISAIAH CHAPTER 65
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
