Everyone wants me to date.They want to me to forget about Brad.I cant.It will be 3 years in May and the tears are still flowing.But I had a date and it was a date from hell.I dont intend to see or call him again.The first thing that he did he was 20 minutes late for our first date.I check the travel reports every day.I mean couldnt he? There is a great deal of construction in Seattle and there are delays.BUT THIS WAS PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER MONTHS ago.! Now I fussed the whole day and I havent been buying clothes like I used to.The dresses in Seattle are very,very expensive and i am on Social Security.A dress that costs 50.00 is a fortune to me.I dont have high heels as I dont have the fantastic figure that Kim Kardashian has.All I wear is tennis shoes and this is what I can afford as of now.I do buy a lot of perfume.I like to smell nice.I buy the inexpensive kind at the Dollar Tree store and if someone gives me a bottle of Obsession I know it was expensive.I also wear makeup..but now eye makeup and I dont wear blush like I used to .He came to the
store looking like he took a shower.He had on boxer shorts with red
socks and I cant stand red socks on a man and old tennis shoes.The t shirt was dirty and ripped.I mean he is a businssman couldnt he use his account to buy nice clothes? He ordered tea for the both of us.Never mind asking me if I wanted some.I hate tea.I love coffee.I live in Seattle.
The coffee here is out of this world.He didnt ask me how to take the
tea.And much to my amazement,he put milk in the tea! WHo puts milk
in tea? You put milk in coffee,not tea.ANd this was a turn off.Then he
gets then paper and reads it! I went to the ladies room and left.This
date was a disaster ! WHere are all the good men

Hey vader, sorry your date didn't work out. He did sound like a real loser but, are you sure that even if he had been nicely dressed, or even looking like a magazine model, would he have measured up to Brad? I didn't understand what you said about looking like he took a shower...that would mean he was clean, and that would've been a plus, in my book! Had he ordered me something I didn't like, I would have told him. Maybe he would have apologized and ordered your preference. I don't care for milk in my tea but, some folks do. That was kind of rude to read the paper, though. He may not have been the "right one" but, please don't let that disuade you. There are still good men out there but as the story goes, you may have to kiss a lot of toads, before you find your "Prince Charming". I hope you didn't take offense to my remark about Brad. It is obvious how very much you loved him, and I don't know if anyone will ever hold a candle, or come anywhere close in comparison to him in your eyes. It's not over til' it's over! Don't give up.

so sorry about the date you had, it was a complete mess, glad you left. well casual is nice to go out, next time you'll have to dress casual. i know it had to be hard for you and i feel for you. He definitely was rude with picking up the paper, you deserve better than that. I agree with Beatrice no one may be what Brad was to you but when least expected, someone will pass your path and be decent. I know how much you love Brad too, I think we all know that. When the time is right, it will happen. tc laura
