I have a picture of my deceased mom in my shop and I often talk to her like she is still alive.

Is that normal? Am I crazy? Am I preventing her from moving on?

I talk to my dad when I have a real problem. I often remember what he used to say and I pull from those memories to get where I need to be. My dad will always be with me in my thoughts and deeds.

You must have cared a lot about your mother and she is with you in spirit.

I think it's somewhat normal to talk to deceased family members and loved ones.
I talk to mine a lot lately.. Sometimes in anger asking them why thy left me here with all this crap to deal with on my own.

Most times I just want to be with them since they can't be here with me.

Trish I do the same but more so with my dad. I remember things he use to say that would have given me support which he did alot of leter in life.
Viv, yea sometimes I feel the same way. Lots of times I would rather be with them instead of having to deal with the stresses in life.

I still talk to all my loved ones, and do not feel I am keeping them from moving on. I know they hear me, and in various ways communicate their presence with great love and peace. Listen in the silence...hear her in the storm, she is ever there for you...since the day that you were born.

I think its perfectly normal, I talk to my husband everyday ad it comforts me. So do what you want there are no rules to grief it's whatever gets you thru the day. beth

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
