I just wanted to share that I've had a bad week overall, but I've managed to stay positive and see the positive in each situation. For example, on Monday I was rushing out the door to work when the Utility man came knocking on my door. I had to pay a huge bill or he was going to cut my power. He needed cash or check, I told him I didn't have that kind of money, but could he witness me making a credit card payment over the phone, he agreed to do that. He also let me make a slightly lower payment than the minimum. I was grateful that he caught me and was willing to work with me. Then I took my kids to pre-school and I was approached about my tuition bill being 4 weeks in arrears, and I was grateful that the owner was willing to work with me on that. And that was just Monday, the whole week wasn't so great and I managed to maintain an even keel which is unusual for me.
Well, today I was driving my children around, and I was feeling a bit stressed. I was concentrating on they sky, my serenity source and it's very reliable like that. I started thinking about my son and my mother watching over us. Suddenly out of the blue, my 3-year old son says, "Wow, look at that cloud!" I don't know where that came from, he's never said that before. After that he and my 5-year old daughter were pointing out the different clouds and comparing them to differnt Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles, so I knew it was genuinely 'them.' It's almost as if their older brother and grandmother were trying to get their attention. I didn't notice exactly which special cloud they were talking about, but I'm grateful that I was able to recognize the beauty of the moment.

I had a near death experience in 1993. I was hit over the head by a sixteen foot, cast iron light post. I had two broken vertebrae in m spine and 49 stitches in my head and a very severe concussion. I heard the bells/music - and the very bright white light and heard voices calling my name in a sort of melodic way - I saw a sea of people standing behind a short stone wall - and at the gate were my grandmother and my husband. My husband was shaking his head - letting me know that it wasn't time - but he was there and waiting.
Your mom and son were there in the clouds - I have no doubt. Not everyone is willing to feel the people that have moved on - I think you -- and I know I am one of the lucky ones . We get to continue feeling the love of the ones that we loved so dearly. To me that is what eternal love is all about.
